Styling, some people love it, some people loath it, but in reality, it’s one of the most important elements and factors that determines the sale result of your home and it becomes even more important when you decide to sell it. So here’s how to do it.

You can try to style your home on your own, however, we recommend that you consult an expert to provide feedback on the current presentation. They will have the experience and know how to make your home appeal to your target market of buyers. They will help with the hiring of furniture and the way it’s presented so your home flows correctly and helps potential buyers imagine themselves living there, meaning you have a much better chance of a higher selling price.

Inside the home is incredibly important, but the first thing your potential buyers are going to see is the outside. It’s imperative to get into the garden and make it neat and clean for your open for inspections. The curb appeal is almost the first thing a buyer will see, so if they are able to notice fresh mulch and cut grass with fresh flowers blooming, it will start your inspection off in a positive manner.

They can sometimes be cluttered and full of items, but know that you want the room to look as spacious as possible. Declutter and add a splash of colour, but don’t make it look too much like a hotel room. Add a couple of pillows to finish off your bed, but mainly, keep the room flowing and spacious so your potential buyer can see the room at its biggest.

Let there be light! Letting in as much light as possible is a must. This will brighten up everything and make your house sparkle. Turn on your lamps and lights and let the sunlight in to create that warm feel.

So here are just a few things you can do to really give your home that extra punch when it comes to your open for inspections.
